Some More Cory Videos & A New Interview

Posted by Diana on February 26th, 2010 with 0 Comments
Categories: Glee, Press, Recent Headlines

Here are a few videos of Cory that have surfaced in the past week. First, GleeFan.com has uploaded a commercial that Cory did in his early career for Extra lottery in Canada. Secondly, USA Today has a phone recording of Cory documenting his favorite places in Vancouver. Thirdly, I can’t embed it but People has a video of Cory explaining what gives him an adrenaline rush here.

Also, The TV Addict has a new interview with Cory where he talks about the upcoming episodes of “Glee”. Here’s a tidbit.

Will Finn find it in himself to ever forgive Puck?
I really don’t know which way it’s going to go. I hope that it’s not all instantly reconciled. I hope it becomes another layer to their hopefully complicated relationship in the future. That’s the really interesting thing about series television, when writers are great — like we have the pleasure of having on our show — it just becomes another layer in the performance.

You can read the rest of the interview here. Expect a gallery update later tonight!

Hi guys! Sorry for the sparse gallery updates lately, especially since there are still a ton of things I need to upload to the gallery. Like I said, I’ve been busy with school so that’s why I’m still looking for applicants to be co-web. So if you’re interested, please read the post here. Anyway, I’ve added an unseen poster for “Glee” for the series premiere last May as well as more episode stills for 1×05 and 1×07.

“Glee” Cast White House Performance & Cory’s Tuxedo Auction

Posted by Diana on February 22nd, 2010 with 1 Comment
Categories: Recent Headlines

According to Ausiello, the “Glee” cast will be performing at the White House on April 5th for the annual White House Easter Egg Roll! Here is more information about it.

Being the president’s wife apparently has its perks.

Sources confirm to me exclusively that First Lady Michelle Obama has invited the cast of Glee to perform at the annual White House Easter Egg Roll on Monday, April 5 — and, barring any last-minute glitches, they’re gonna do it!

Rumor has it Mrs. O and her daughters are big fans of the show. And since a White House gig is an offer that’s pretty darn hard to refuse, Glee’s producers did some lickety-split schedule rejiggering in order to honor the request.

All in all, not a bad stretch for the Glee club: Glee The Music Volume 1 just debuted at No. 1 on the UK album charts, ahead of the ubiquitous Lady Gaga!

What do you think, folks? Do you already have your trip to D.C. booked? Are you salivating at the prospect of a Puck/Michelle Obama photo op? Sound off below!

Additionally, Clothes Off Our Back is auctioning Cory’s Hugo Boss tuxedo that he wore to the Golden Globes to benefit Haiti relief. Here is a description of the item.

Own the Hugo Boss tuxedo worn by actor Cory Monteith at the 67th Golden Globe Awards. Mr. Monteith won a Golden Globe for Television Series – Comedy or Musical for his work in “Glee” and he donated his tuxedo to raise money for charity. Winner will receive the black Hugo Boss jacket and pants (size: 44 R), Hugo Boss two ply white dress shirt (size: 43 / 17), Hugo Boss silver tie and cuff links.

85% of the winning bid on this auction item will be donated to the American Red Cross to support emergency relief efforts in Haiti. Assistance provided by the American Red Cross may include sending relief supplies, mobilizing relief workers and providing financial resources.

Cory To Guest Star On “The Simpsons”

You may have read about this on Cory’s Twitter a few days ago but now we have official confirmation! Cory will be guest starring on an episode of “The Simpsons” next season along with Lea and Amber!

Get ready, Gleeks. Your favorite high school singers, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Amber Riley are all going to turn into ‘toons

You’re about to see the Glee trio of Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Amber Riley as you’ve never seen them before – literally. Fox officially confirmed to Hollywoodlife.com that the trio will be appearing as cartoons on The Simpsons next season!

We first got wind of the network crossover from Lea, 23, when she tweeted the big news Feb. 16. “Recorded an episode of the Simpsons today! So cool!!!! Will let everyone know when it’s gonna air!” Well, we beat you to that, girlfriend, sorry! Cory, 27 was equally excited about his new gig. “Just recorded a guest spot for [the show]. one of the best moments of my life thus far.” he wrote on his Twitter page Feb. 13.

For Amber, who just turned 24 on Feb. 15, this seems to be a pretty killer way to celebrate! Between thanking fans for her b-day wishes, she let it slip that she was going yellow for the hit animated show. “I’m gonna be a simpsons character lol” she tweeted in reply to a friend on Feb. 12.

Its official kids, you’ve made it to the big time! Becoming a Simpsons character is a huge Hollywood rite of passage! We’re totes excited, aside from the painfully long wait ahead of us. Though the episode is already wrapped, its not scheduled to air until some time during the series’ 22nd season.

In the meantime, don’t have a cow, man.

Also, I’m still looking for applicants to be a co-web on the site so read this post for more information!

Looking For A Co-Web

Posted by Diana on February 16th, 2010 with 2 Comments
Categories: Site

Hey guys. I’m back at school and my schedule has gotten a lot busier. As a result, I don’t have as much time to work on the site so I’m looking for a co-web to help with updates (main page, info pages, gallery) and general maintenance. First, a few requirements to be stated.

  • A good knowledge of HTML and use of WordPress necessary.
  • Decent sources for images (image accounts, access to actors’ Facebooks, etc.) a MUST – I will ask in detail about this later.
  • Ability to post the latest news/images of Cory. I know that means a lot of time online but Cory is in the news a lot nowadays and there is stuff that needs to be posted, especially when “Glee” starts up again.
  • Long-term commitment. I’m not looking for someone who will update for the first week and then disappear. Yes, I know real life gets in the way sometimes but at least let me know if you’ll be gone.

I’m basically looking for anyone who is willing to dedicate their time to making this site the best online Cory source. If interested, just send me an email here with your name, a sample of any prior web work and why you want to be co-web. You can also fill out the contact form and input the same information required there. I want to try to get as many applicants as I can so this post will remain at the top for about a week or two. :)

Categories: Appearances, Gallery Update

Hi there. I’ve added pictures from a missing event that Cory went to on November 19th of last year when he was in Canada. It was the launch of the “Raising the Roof” campaign, which is a organization that helps prevent youth homelessness. Thanks SO much to jadarz for the first 24 gorgeous, HQ pictures from the event! :)

There’s going to be more pictures added from the event that happened later that night, Cory choosing Canada’s Most Fearless Person, so check back later for those!
