Cory Monteith: May 11, 1982 – July 13, 2013

Glee star Cory Monteith died of “mixed-drug toxicity, involving heroin and alcohol,” according to an initial autopsy report conducted by the British Columbia Coroner’s Service.

Monteith was found dead in his 21st-floor hotel room at the upscale Fairmont Pacific Rim hotel in Vancouver on July 13. Hotel staff discovered his body after he missed his noon checkout time. He was 31.

From all of us here on Cory Monteith Daily, we would just like to say how devastated we are about Cory’s passing. He was an amazing and inspiring person and it has been such an honor to be considered his fans. We plan to keep the site open in his memory and we plan on updating the main site and gallery with small press snipets as well as updates on the 2 movies he had coming out, ‘All the Wrong Reasons’ and ‘McCanick.’ Words can’t even describe how much we miss him but we dedicated ourselves to providing an up to date and reliable fansite dedicated to Cory and we want to do our best to keep providing that.     It’s such a tragedy, but it’s good to see how all the fans help each other through this.
